In my 20 years of smoking, I've never taken a t break.  never smoked like a fiend, 3 hits 2-3 times a day is perfect, never felt the need for a t break. You a heavy smoker?

Same here. That's actually the same ways I go about my smoking too, two to three tokes taken two to three times through out the day/evening. I've been smoking practically daily for 7 years now and I still get lifted nicely from a few rips off the pipe, I've just kept my intake consistent and in moderation. I'm not trying to get as stoned as possible every day and I actually enjoy having the tolerance that I do....but my tolerance is still relatively low, even with smoking daily, so the occasions that I do want to get really stoned proper it doesn't take much.
A month or so ago I went 5 days with out smoking, which is the longest I've gone with out smoking in 7 years. It wasn't planned, I just ran out of smoke and couldn't get a'hold of anyone, so I went with out for a few days .
But other than that, and a random day or two here and there, the herb is a part of my day just as a cup of coffee is.

I also make sure not to smoke the same strain everyday.

I was on day 60-something until this weekend. Buddy of mine gave the gift of Girl Scout Cookies direct from a California dispensary (his brother lives in the Bay Area). I've read its hard to find the real deal, so I have no idea if this was legit GSC, but  was I blazed.
Anyway, still have to worry about rando testing so its back to a forced T-Break for the next 4 months. I can't wait to unpack my 3 foot bong, pack it with whats left of the GSC, and let it rip.
Come on August......get here already...

Nah that's what I need man, I feel so sluggish as of late especially for hw and projects. Last time I went on a t-break I won an award at school for a poster I did so that's an incentive.

Every so often I think of going on a t-break and a fast again. The most recent time I abstained for any significant period was moving to a new area and having bigger things to worry about while moving into my new home.
By the time I had got something and had time to sit down I was smoking and getting -too- high.

3-day water fast is my usual go-to, but that can be kind of hardcore for some people's bodies. If I intend on going longer I eat almonds with orange juice in the morning when I wake up.

BROTHER I was just thinking that today. I realized how much I hold back from school just because of the mental fog I walk around in all day. I get ideas but never fully incorporate them into any of my designs cos I forget about them a few minutes later.
I am at a point where it's either my career or getting high. Maybe on the weekends but for now I will try to see how far I can go. It's easier with my girl doing this with me.

I liken it to my father's bourbon and coke he would have at nights after the work was done.
Even as close to 2 months ago I was an everyday all day smoker, but now I have backed off for the sake of conservation and clarity. My ideas never get off the ground because of being stoned.lol.
Now that I smoke at night, I find some nights I wont even light up. Weekends I usually burn it up, but during the week, it just kinda slows me down.

I smoke daily year round with 2-3 tolerance breaks a year . usually 15-50 days per break...
my last one was before xmas and was just over a month. The first 2-3 days im a lil edgy tho, but after that its all gravy
Then when u start smoking again... yeeeeehaw

Smoking calms it down enough for me to focus on one thing at a time. Plus, I only sleep 2-4 hours a day when I don't smoke. Always feel well rested when I wake, but I'm sure that little sleep is not good.

It definitely helps. I'm an indica man but toking that shit makes me sludgy. I found that vaping indica gives me the high I'm looking for without the taxation on my lungs and throat.

I personally prefer indica myself, although I don't mind sativa high either. I can't vape anymore though. The taste triggers memories of an unpleasant experience and it causes anxiety. Weird huh

I was vaping exclusively for a while and somehow ended up with a staph infection in my lung that put me in the hospital for almost a month. The first week in, I was coughing up a lot of blood, and all I could taste was vape and blood. I guess it kind of traumatized me.

What kind of vape were you using? Sounds like you might have been inhaling some sort of contaminant or may have been something completely unrelated.

I was using the vapir NO2. I think that the virus was completely unrelated to my use of the vape. Even the doctors were stumped as to why I had it. I'm surprised that they didn't try to blame it on smoking lol. That was about 2 years ago although I have scar tissue in my lung that causes sharp pain from time to time. Funny that smoking actually helps the pain.
This might sound strange, but I think the taste of vaping triggers PTSD symptoms for me. I wasn't sure at first if I was going to make it and the doctors had me write a dying will and tried to convince me to have a chaplain visit me. Worst month of my life lol. But hey, all the more reason to smoke right?

I don't know about clinical PTSD (could be though) but anything that reminds you of that time, especially viscerally, has to be painful.

No worries. I just think of it as a freak accident lol. The docs think that maybe my immune system was weak because I was overworking myself. That visit is the same reason I cannot stand opiates either. Now that I have my card, I don't have to buy shitty overpriced buds anymore anyways

hard for me to do T breaks when i got lots of Weed, hash, and Dabs always around.
Course my wife smokes like 4 times a day, makin it even harder. I dont know if she has ever done a T break in the last 3 yrs. Weed makes her horny as shit, so I dont mind her tokin all day

Well that whole "only blaze on weekends" worked pretty well for a while. But heading home (manitoba) for 2 weeks fucked me. Got my tolerance high and i kept blazing everyday when i got back.
Decided on saturday night its time to start a new T-BREAK, so i didnt smoke all day yesterday, and im on day 2 today.
I honestly prefer edibles more then smoking these days.... lasts 4-5hrs. nice laughy high.... sleep like a rock. If you can get the dosage right you can get higher then smoking will ever get ya.... Feels nice!
I may just do that edibles on the weekends for a bit. Who knows, all i know is im on a t break and it sucks today. lol
Day 3+ is where its gravy tho (much easier) \
qutting pot is MUCH harder then kratom btw

ya im looking forward to being clear headed again.... haven't read a novel in a while, so ill prob start one this week (so much easier to read books when ur not blazed/burnt)
getting "the sweats" pretty good today... i went for a run and i was SOAKED in sweat!!! Even after my shower and relaxing i was still sweating (DAMN THC DETOX SWEATS!) Never got the sweats like this before when i quit smoking, but ive heard of others say it happened to them..... prob getting it because ive been eating huge amounts of edibles lately (and smoking/vaping at same time)
I was pretty irritable yesterday and a bit today. Looking for to my kratom tea tonight

Day 4 today.. Feel great mentally right now. Forgot how it feels to be clear headed. lol
My kratom doses are hitting me much harder on lower doses then when i was smoked out all day.
Me and gask got a bet. Who will smoke first, me with pot and him with cigs.
I might bake a dozen cookies on friday and stick with my plan to only take edibles for a while. I bet it will hit me much harder now that im off the pots

I did about 100 days after smoking for years straight. Mainly dabs all day. There were days where id smoke 2 or 3 grams of shatter by myself.
When i smoked again i took one hit of regular herb and fucking lost my mind. I got way too high and couldnt finish the bowl.

Out of the 5 years I have been smoking I have only taken one T break and that lasted almost 3 weeks. Really needing one

I made it to 7 days today. Felt alot better then i thought it would. Been super clear headed and keeping myself busy all weekend.
Been a lil bitchy and aggressive here and there but thats how i am off the pots i think

I am the opposite, it inhibits me from resting well.
For good rest I recommend going to bed at a consistent time, total darkness in your bedroom, exercise, and chamomile.
Various de-stressing routines before bed can help as well such as reading, meditation, etc.
Your sleep is not independent of the other parts of your day or of your health, overall wellness will contribute to good sleep.

I've been trying all of those things for the past few months and although it helps I find that bud helps the best. Chamomile is great! I might get back into it starting with the t-break.

It used to help me sleep when I first started smoking.
Now that I've gotten used to doing things around the house, coding, reading, etc while baked, smoking will actually get me jazzed up and keep me awake.

I'm taking a 1-2 week break. My tolerance is just too high. I need larger amounts of dabs to actually get me stoned.

I've been feeling pretty good lately, I just renewed my medical card and my girl got hers so we hit the clubs on 420 and got hooked the fuck up with a bunch of edibles. I've slowly been eating those and have been feeling great!
IDK how you niggas can go through dab after dab, one of those dabs lasts me about four hours of an intense high. Full melt on the other hand I can smoke a .1 for 2 or 3 bowls and stay pretty stoned for the entire afternoon. A gram of full melt usually lasts me about a week.
How often do you guys reup?

Lol that's how I am after a month tbreak. Then after Dabbin' everyday for 2 months I need 3x as much as I would after a tbreak. And when my tolerance is high I'm buying 2-3 grams a week. At 30-40 a pop. When its low I can make a gram last a week.

I used to be able to smoke a few grams of wax and at least a quarter of bud a day, now I might smoke a couple bowls a day.
