not as stupid as being completely opiate intolerant and railing 160 mgs over 2 hrs. That was the first time i ever did it, back then no one knew what it was besides a pain killer. I remember leaving my friends house and at the entrance to his development i had to stop my car, open the door, and puke my guts out. Then i went home and slept for like 18 hrs.

I'm lucky i didn't kill myself.

I got my dosage increased today.  20 x 20mg Oxycontin and 20 x 5mg Endone.  A total of 500mg of oxycodone for $10 a week.

:jealous:  Round these parts 10 bucks will get you 15 mg if you can find someone to sell you half a 30. 

Haven't seen 20 mg ER's in ages though.

Edit: I'm sure i don't have to tell you, but, 500 mgs of oxy per week is a pretty heft habit.  Watch yourself, opiate withdrawls suck and the tolerance acquired sucks even more :P

That's the bonus of being legitimately supplied, if and when I no longer need pain relieve my doctors will ween me off slowly at what ever time frame is needed, They've already told me this.  I'm set up sweet.

I've been using opiates for pain daily since early may now and have no choice in the matter.  At the moment I can get by (though with pain in my jaw where I have nerve damage) without getting sick at all by just taking 2 10mg OTC codeine tablets a day.

I'm sure i'll become more tolerant but without opiates I cant sleep, concentrate or function in general.

Yah, this is true.  At least you'll be able to do it the easy(er) way then cold turkey.

At this point in time my inability to function is due to constant pain, not lack of opiates.  That will probably change in time but I'm in a catch 22 situation.  Without medication I'm in pain all the time and seeing as there is very little options other than opiates when it comes to relief of chronic pain I have no other choices.
