they did in grade 7 and 8 then it wasn't compulsory (so i didnt take it)...... my dad speaks french so it would be cool to shoot the shit with him in french

French is such a useless language to learn imo.(unless you live somewhere with a large french population)
I do wish I would of taken Spanish though. Would've help me out so much in life.

yeah i wish i had paid more attention in spanish in HS, i can recognize some things but not enough for it to really matter
