Just got done walking my buddies pits because they are out of town for a few weeks.
It's sad when it only takes seeing 2 pits to see why people hate them and love them at the same time.

why's that? i mean, i can see why if they're the typical ear-cropped, muscle bound, menacing looking bastard, but all my experiences with them have shown them to be lovable idiots of the canine world.

Dunno why, just that he tends to growl at basically any male. Frankly his body looks more like a labs than a pit, but it's pretty annoying to have him growl.
 He's the only pitt I've ever met that acted so aggressively, but fuck if it doesn't make me want to never be around him.
The other one is a short stout lovable motherfucker.

However my part-beagel mutts I snagged from the woods outside my home town are adorable as fuck. My dad cam home the other day and not only found my girl outside of the pen, but also in my tree house... Which has a draw-bridge-esque set of stairs which were not down when she got up there.
Her sister is to short to do anything that adorable. 
Like I said though I like all animals if they aren't humans. Humans suck.

Dogs wont try and eat my plants... cats will. my doggies just lay infront of the door waiting for me to get out, kitties scratch the door to get in.

I guess it could be common. There's usually some family story of an uncle or something that has eaten dog.

Its mean that's for sure...someone's pet anyways..I can understand the culture difference as far as the culinary, but to steal a pet n then do that's just wrong..
