Now Granted I only got 300 since I just started there but damn you should of seen my coworkers faces.
And they bought us lunch today at some Italian restaurant too.

It's probably profit sharing, they'd either have to give it to the IRS or to employees.
My dad's old boss used to give out christmas bonuses up to a few thousand dollars because of that.

my last company did that. it was profit sharing. if we made so much in that quarter they would divide the profit between us. what was really cool is we didnt make shit that quarter so instead, they cut us all a 1,000 dollar check. i was told they usually get close to 2,000 though so most were disappointed, but i had just started and that 1000 on top of my normal check was the shit.
the best part was my chick had no idea and still doesnt to this day...

My lady gets Christmas bonus though and usually gets between 500-2000 so that will be nice. Maybe go get ourselves a new TV with the money and get some bills paid ahead on
