Zup dudes, I'm new here at growery. How's my plant doing? This is my first grow. Bought a tangerine dream clone and transplanted about 3 weeks ago. She looks like she has been growing, I hope her roots are spreading in the new pot.
1. Are you growing from seed or clones? A: Clone 2. How old are your plants? A: About a month and a half. 3. How tall are your plants? A: Approx 1.5 feet 4. What size containers are they planted in? A: 3gal terracotta 5. What is your soil mix? A: Black gold all purpose potting soil 6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use and how much you give per watering? A: I watered heavily during transplant and a few days after, noticed I was watering too much so I cut back. 7. What is the pH of your water? A: Dunno 8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? A: none yet 9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? A: No 10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") A: I use 2 cfl lights at night and put it in the sun during the day. 11. How close are your lights to the plants? A: Each is about a foot away 12. What size is your grow space in square feet? A: 4 sq ft 13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? A: Don't measure 14. What is the pH of the soil? A: Dunno 15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? A: No 16. How much experience do you have growing? A: None
A little more light wouldn't hurt at all, it looks a little stretchy.
What's the wattage of your bulbs? CFL bulbs are best kept no more than 2 inches (In my limited experience.) from the top for the best use of them, as they lose a lot of penetration power any farther than that.
Like budgrowerwannabe said, you'll want to keep an eye on pH and other (not so) little things like that to make sure you get the most potential out of your plant. It still looks green, not burnt, and healthy, so you're probably okay for now, but you'll want to find:
-A good nutrient to make sure your plant stays healthy and you get a good harvest. (Fox Farms' nutrient trio is proven and affordable, especially if you go to eBay and get the smaller trio.) Fox Farms' Soil Trio
