Just had a molar and wisdom tooth pulled this morning. Damn free clinic wouldn't give me a scrip for hydros to take the ache away once the novacaine wore off. Assholes. Thank fuck I have a bottle of tylenol 3's that I've had stashed away for a while! This shit sucks ass, mang...
On the bright side, no more worries of food getting lodged inside a massive fucking hole in my tooth and putting pressure on the exposed nerve inside it! Woo hoo! I can eat chips and nuts and other crunchy shit again!

Never understood the need for a painkiller after your bad tooth is pulled 
All that is left is a minor, dull ache from the actual pulling
that'll be gone in a day or two, and is easily managed with OTC meds
Last 4 teeth I had pulled, I left the RX for the antibiotics and painkillers at the Drs office

Unless you are like me and they have to DIG into your gum to get it out. They leave me in so much pain that I almost pass out sometimes. Although the dentist I have will usually give me 5 - 10 percocets. He is a free clinic dentist and knows I do not abuse them. I also don't use all the ones he gives me as the pain only lasts for a few days and I abhor opiates.

Normally, I couldn't care less. Last time I had dental work done, the hydros I got from that ended up lasting me about 6 months. I used them to manage the pain of my other fucked up teeth. Lol.
This time, however, I had a molar and wisdom tooth pulled, and not only did he have to cut away the gum to get at the wisdom tooth, but it was stubborn as fuck, so he had to drill it and reef on it for a while to get it to come out. That shit sucked ass, and hurt like a bitch afterwards...
