 Anyone else get really high when preparing ganja oil?

I don't know why it is, but it seems like every time I cook ganja coconut oil, I just feel REALLY high the whole time it's cooking. I keep it pretty low heat too, so I don't think there's any vape effect. Maybe absorbing it through the skin? I dunno.

I mix the cookies with my hands and generally sample them a little before they're cooked. I know its damn good butter when I'm high before the cookies are done.

I don't get really stoned from handling cannabutter/cannaoil. mostly a mellow body buzz.
Now when i strain my tincture after it soaks for 6 months......thats a different story. Man i got so freakin lit one time. It kinda freaked me out. I squeezed everything through some cheese cloth to get every last bit of alcohol out...the alcohol must have absorbed into my skin real easily....i was very  after....lol.
Now i wear gloves when working with tintures and edibles.
