Boston Bomber on cover of Rolling Stone
    #678418 - 07/17/13 12:12 PM (10 years, 8 months ago)

A lot of people are in uproar after Rolling Stone put the Boston Bomber on the cover.

What do you guys think?

Personally I feel as if they are glorifying him.

But why did they choose to use that picture?

They make him look like he is a "rock star" imo.

Yeah, that's disgusting. I hope people ruin them on newsstands. Fuck that piece of shit.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

Probably for the shock factor. He looks like just a nice normal guy in the picture but you know what he did.

Idgaf, and I don't think it's a big deal at all. Rolling Stone probably just thought they were still politically relevant. Then again I just try not to give a fuck because he killed humans and us humans suck. We need to off about 4 billion more though...

Shit that he did surely killed more good humans than bad humans right?  Many humans don't deserve to live but for some dick nozzle to kill random people and should have killed more? I must certaonly must be extremely high to think you're implying this right, lol.

I just try not to give a shit about people, also there are no "good" people. I mean protip: it's not going to be some benevolent dude if anyone kills large swaths of people.

It's okay though, the sea level rising alone will kill plenty. The turmoil from fossil fuels will just make it better.

Frankly nobody has to do everything. The problem will soon take care of it all soon.

Most likely he's the lead story in the magazine so he's on the cover. Anybody who thinks anything of him just cause he's on the cover a crappy rag magazine is a retard anyway.

Not exactly the first time they have done it either. Like DonkyDong69 said they just want the shock factor.

They want readers and now they have us talking about their tired old magazine here. They got what they wanted. Publicity good or bad is still publicity.

Honestly Rolling Stone isn't full of rockstars anymore anyways. Almost all rock oriented magazines are just complete shit. Rolling Stone is full of pop artists (I remember my 2006 Lohan issue loloolo) and shitty articles about nothing.

I had a sub in 2012.  Too many articles about Bieber and fat (obese) rap artists.  It was a free sub I got with ff miles.  I picked a different mag this year.  At least I get good cookie recipes from Better Homes & Gardens.

If rolling stones is putting out bieber and lohan(does she even sing), its become a sorry excuse for a magazine..they do kind of make him look good (if u can call him that).  +1 on the manson cover.

Charlie Manson was a musician as well though. And those other people are celebrities. Not that I agree they should be on the cover, but this guy didn't do fuck all.

If anything they should hav used his haggard beaten up ass face.

Only problem with this is it gives reason for criminals to harm people so they will have the fame themselves.

Not really fame more like infamy.

Also do they need to pay him for using his picture?
