Has any one tried using an air pump to put o2 directly into the roots?
I wanna try it with my little autoflowers.

Iv never seen studies but i decided to try this. Im gunna have two of my plants(autoflowers) in plastic pots of the same volume and use identical nutes, water, soil, etc. except have one aerated. But honestly i would have expected someone to have tried this...oh well time to mess around with stuff i know next-to-nothing about

Lighting: 1300 Lumens/sqr foot-CFLs
Im going to use an air pump and some aquarium tubing. Insert tube under root mass, turn on the pump, then see what happens. Both plants will get watered once a week. they are both about 7cm tall right now. i jst set it up(yay productive insomnia )

Keep us updated.
Maybe do a side by side comparison grow. I'd worry that with CFL it wouldn't be making enough of a difference anyways.

Id love to have some HPS lights, but they are too expensive. Upfront i paid sumthicg like 70 bucks for the entire grow.i dnt have much of a bugetand its only a perssonal grow, but i might as well get the most out of this grow. I justremoved the last males from my room. time to play the waiting game...

So dam all! what deuce!? My dad "confiscated" my plants  . Dam things started stanking up the place while, unbeknownst to me the seals in that grow room door suck. found two beautiful plants and had a f*cking fit.
Tho i still saw a significant increase in plant health and growth rate I cant say for sure that it was the aeration, due to an incomplete experiment

Im 17 and my dads not really a dick. hes just misinformed. When you hear your whole life that something is bad, you just believe it. ud proly react the same way in his shoes. Most people would. Oh well, nothing i can do about it now. Im just gunna have to find a better(safer) place to grow.

And no, his dad is not a dick. Dude's a minor, living with his dad. He has no right to be growing in their house, without consent. In some states if he was caught, they may seize the property.
If this kid wants to grow, then he should wait until he moves out.

I would go for a Guerrilla grow until your old enough to have your own place and can setup a nice indoor operation.
