I gotta drive 350 miles to stubbs in austin everytime i wanna see em. Houston is an extra 2-3 hours.
Ive been goin to all the shows since the solo tour with tim fite...saw claypool a bunch of times...primus once on the comeback...but i missed the 3d tour!!!!!!!!!!!
Im so pissed. So screw all yall and your fancy surround sound and 3d visuals. I bet you all see primus all the time and some of you prolly shop at green gopher garden supply.

Some old washburn xb-400 i got in 2002 and a greg bennet by samick 5 string.
The xb was my first bass from middle school, some $200 beginner bass. Once i started listening to Jaco i pulled out all 24 frets, put wood filler, sanded it...made it fretless. Its been to hell and back.
The GB's a lil nicer. Its just a nicely made 5 string with green color burst. I only got it cuz it wass usually 1100-1200 but a local store had it on sale for $650. 21 frets. Nothin fancy...just a 5.
Both are active...i wanna get a warwick 6 next...played em and theyre super light and thin. My 5 is HEAVY.
I use a rack power conditioner, sansamp RBI, crest 900w power amp, into an ampeg svt-15. Speakers only 200w. One day i will put a 410 on top and run my rig in two channels. Nothin fancy really.

And ive been on ampeg fix ever since i saw an interview with claypool saying how he switched out for ampegs in the middle of a tour. Then i had an ampeg artist poster that had him on there too.
But i dont think he uses em that much anymore. Last i heard it was only his "big rig"
