You must never have been to one of their shows. And hawks i wanna say cool icon. I got a pork soda tat so youre icon immediaty caught my attention ever since i been lurkin. Ive been to every show in austin and houston tx since claypool toured with tim fite...only one i missed was the last 3d one :/

The whole primus sucks thing is hilarious, they suck for sure lol I was told that the primus 3d tour is mostly for the "heads" opposed to typical rockers which makes sense, I first heard about it after shpongle from this cool dude that we partied with during the show. Really wanted to go but just didn't have time or money. Have fun

Not gonna lie, I love Primus way more than TOOL nowadays....Primus was always a close 2nd, but in the last few years my love for them has grown exponentially with every show I've gone to. I have way more fun at Primus shows than I do at TOOL shows....and I've been to a fuck load of both

Nah, it's 4 days or nothing. Shit is hella expensive, that's why I just wrote that show off to begin with. I love Primus, but not sure I wanna spend around $500 for a festival setlist. The Eugene show is gonna kick fucking ASS, amigo. It's at Cuthbert Amphitheater. Gonna be outdoors, in the trees, by the river! AND it's GA!

I'll be crashing at a friend's house in Portland, then driving us down to Eugene from there, where I'll be crashing at another friend's house. I'd be more than willing to give ya a ride, as long as you didn't mind hanging out and crashing with some of the coolest people I know!

Some old washburn xb-400 i got in 2002 and a greg bennet by samick 5 string.
The xb was my first bass from middle school, some $200 beginner bass. Once i started listening to Jaco i pulled out all 24 frets, put wood filler, sanded it...made it fretless. Its been to hell and back.
The GB's a lil nicer. Its just a nicely made 5 string with green color burst. I only got it cuz it wass usually 1100-1200 but a local store had it on sale for $650. 21 frets. Nothin fancy...just a 5.
Both are active...i wanna get a warwick 6 next...played em and theyre super light and thin. My 5 is HEAVY.
I use a rack power conditioner, sansamp RBI, crest 900w power amp, into an ampeg svt-15. Speakers only 200w. One day i will put a 410 on top and run my rig in two channels. Nothin fancy really.

And ive been on ampeg fix ever since i saw an interview with claypool saying how he switched out for ampegs in the middle of a tour. Then i had an ampeg artist poster that had him on there too.
But i dont think he uses em that much anymore. Last i heard it was only his "big rig"

Fuck all you guys until theres another tour that includes texas.
I wanna take 5 grams of shrooms and go crowd surfing like i did at my very first claypool show.
Ive been getting the urge to get high like that again...and nothing is better than doing that at a primus show.
