OAKLAND -- A US Airways passenger at Oakland International Airport checked in a luggage bag containing 65 pounds of marijuana Thursday, a Transportation Security Administration spokesman said.
The unidentified passenger was arrested by Alameda County Sheriff's Office deputies after a random search of the bag unearthed the pot, TSA spokesman Nico Melendez said in an email. The luggage was bound for a plane headed to Charleston, S.C., Sheriff's Office spokesman J.D. Nelson said through a text.
KGO reported that the marijuana was found in vacuum-sealed bags and had an estimated value of $300,000.
The TSA contacted Sheriff's Office deputies after the discovery, Melendez said. No other details were available immediately.
you never know man... this guy could have done it hundreds of times before. In todays would question everything. Just say this dude had an inside source who got shit onto an airplain and then gave him up to a problem they were havein between them! a minor argument could cause friendships to go bad.. It could be anything we dont know.. Is this guy as dumb as people who smoke pot while drivin on a highway and gets pulled over for speedin and then is poped with other shit?

I stand by my statement, I don't care what system you have setup to protect yourself, trying to move that much marijuana on an airplane is fucking retarded. The security in those places is ridiculous now.
im also going to call BS on 65 pounds. There is no way that there was one bag with 65 pounds of vaccum sealed bags. the most swim was ever able to smash into one bag was probably 20. And im with everyone, why the fuck would you go to an airport with that? dumbass.
