hi im new to the forum. a while back i found something that really interested me. it was a section of a book i was reading that told how to secure a camoflauged plant/soil/planter to the top of a tree branch (so that it wont be noticed and it can still grow from the sun.
i dont remember where i read it, does anyone know about this or have any tips?
also, what is the best time to start growing outdoor in northern california?
What you are describing can absolutely be done. I have a friend called Bom who has done this for years. In big pine/spruce in Scandinavia. It is really a neat thing to see. But the novelty factor is what makes it cool, not so much the functionality. It's not a lot of fun when you're hauling the buckets and soil up, or cutting branches away. You'd be much better served with a standard guerrilla grow here on the ground
Well put some pulleys in the tree and hook them to buckets or what ever, and use them to pull the plant up and down out of the pine tree. But like you said your still going to climb up and trim and hook up the pulleys. Then get a peg that screws into the tree to tie off too .I would put it somewere you will have to climb a little so it cant be seen if someone walks be
