Stupidly, and clumsily I tried to stand the first one back up, and broke it. The one I just found in this pitiful state I will not touch so I may find this out.  If it was getting buffeted around too much by a fan would this knock it over? Thats the only thing I could think could be the problem.

It sure could.  Seedlings that young I don't put a fan on at all.  Also those are kinda big pots for seedlings.

alot of people said autoflowers dont like to be transplanted, didnt want to stunt their growh since they only live for 2 months give or take

Yeah I guess I've heard that.

Make sure ya don't water them at all then.  There is no root system to pull up all the water.  Don't wanna drown those fuckers and complicate things any further.

This is kinda off topic, but its part of my grow technically so instead of making a new thread I will ask here:

I started a DWC at a friends house.

Everyday the water is cloudy with a bit of foam.
Have NOT given any nutes, the only thing in the water is ph down.
Also, everyday the ph goes from 5.8 to 6.5-6.7.

So far, the seedling doesnt seem to mind too much. But, this IS going to become a problem when I start to add nutes to the water here in the next week.  I've tried dechlorinated tap water and distilled water. Ive narrowed it down a little.
The water isnt too warm,  and it isnt light gettting into the bucket. I thought it may be the rockwool cube so i took the seedling plug out of the cube and tossed the cube rinsed the plug with 5.8 ph water  and replaced the cube with more aquarium  pea gravel.

So, Im left with it being the ph down? Does the stuff go bad? What would up the ph in 24 hours like that EVERYDAY.  The water DID have a smell to it until i got rid of the rockwool, but the water still gets very cloudy, and the ph goes up everyday...Im stumped.

I take back my statement on fans on seedlings.  I've started to do that from the beginning. But the fan is a decent distance away, and not on a high setting.  Just enough to move em a little bit.

So a few questions for ya.  How big is this DWC system, how much water is in it?  Is it a recirculating system?  How big was the rockwool cube?  Did you pre soak it before putting it in your system?  What kind of pH down are you using, and how old is it?

the dwc is a single 5 gal bucket  probably have 4 gallons of water in it...not recirculating.
the rockwool was 6" cube...did the pre soak
using general hydroponics ph down...as for the age of the ph down...ive had it for 3 weeks...

As for my face flopped seedlings...i came to conclude since i am using FFOF, it is very, very light and airy. I didnt water the soil down before planting so, the soil stayed overly light and airy, and their one little root wasnt enough to hold them up in all that loose soil....make sense to anyone else, or am I horrible at trouble shooting?

How about the dwc question?

Whoops, sorry dude.  I'd say its the size of the fucking cube, with such a small amount of water.  I think that would make it foam like that.  There's really no need for them to be that big in a DWC system.  Just make sure your net basket is big enough and filled with hydroton :cookiemonster:

If you can I'd REALLY suggest that you turn it into a recirculating system.  They are SO much easier to maintain dude, as far as maintaining PPM and pH levels over the entire grow.  Less drastic swings.
