If you top them you'll get the nodes to start shooting out. Because your using an inferior light source I'd just give them more time. Your soil looks like it might be too compact, which tends to restrict root growth and slows the plant down.

Not sure why everyone thinks they need to chop their fan leaves. Those are the plants energy source--they're solar panels. Your plants will be slow as long as you use inferior lighting.

Your temperature is too high, and humidity low btw.

Dude, 14400 lumens is fucking great for less than 4 square feet, especially with the lights being so close.

Also, the air is being exchanged constantly and hot air expelled, so the temps aren't a concern.

And last time I checked, topping is much more stressful than trimming a few fan leaves.

Topping and femming are out of the question.

Thanks though

While topping is somewhat stressful, I wouldn't throw it out of the realm of something to do.  I do it all the time, and the plants turn out wonderfully.

If you're wanting to increase the amount of growing shoots you have without topping, then I would recommend low stress training.  I'm not sure what else you could me by "send energy to node growth."

And I would have to agree with Phyco, 87 degrees is a bit high.  It can work, but it's not the ideal conditions that people try and shoot for.
