But further research and I see quite a few unhappy customers.....That's really unfortunate.
And I forgot that my warranty is through a different company than ASUS, that's why I didn't have any issues.

Yeah issue with the screen, but it was my own fault. Dog knocked it off of the coffee table and fucked the screen up. But since there was no visible hard damage, if you know what I mean, they covered it.

Sounds sweet....I wouldn't want someone at my house though. Paranoia and whatnot. I also didn't allow the cable guy to install my shit, made them to it remotely.

its much better (besides weight) then the air.

I dont need a disk drive or storage space. Would rather have externals for both. Only thing that would be nice about a full sized laptop would be discreet graphics but thats not that big an issue.
Aiming on the Asus right now but it will be another week or so till I have the funds so..

I wouldnt mind upgrading my graphics too but it handles stuff alright
I started playing Star Wars: The Old Republic again and the laptop handles it smoothly unlike my HP which had some problems
