 Changing the time of day lights are on

My temps are a bit too high during the day, when my light is on, and I'm hoping to change the time the lights go on to the evening.
Right now I have a few 3 week old plants and a few 3 day old seedlings. Most of the plants are auto but a few are photoperiod.
The current light cycle is 10 am to 4 am and I want to change it to 4 pm to 10 am.
Any advisable way to do this?

Well since there in veg just keep the light on until it's time to turn it off for the new cycle.

in the summer, lamps in the day. cool at night.. no need to heat the house twice. 
in the winter, lamps during the evening, night. helps with depression.
