This thing games like a BEAST.
I got Windows 7 Professional running on it.

Yeah, I hear ya. What are your specs? I'm just curious.
I'm on a downloading spree right now 
I just picked up a 3 TB drive and my goal is to fill that sucker up.
I also have to make an image of my HDD. I'm gonna use the built in prog in Win 7
to do it; I usually use clonezilla.
I got another box, too:
Core 2 Quad
4 GB DDR2 @ 800 MHz RAM
WD 300 GB HDD
Geforce 220 GT Video card
I use it as an FTP server. I run it headless (no monitor or peripherals).
It's running Ubuntu, I can hit it via SSH.
I need to upgrade to at least a 1 TB drive, however. And I need a new optical drive for it.
Then, I'm done! I swear! .... But, I really want a SSD for my gaming rig...

nice man, I cant wait to build my own setup once I get moved and back on my feet
just sold my HP laptop that had a i3 and a 2.6 gHz processor. Was a pretty good machine but I wanted as little stuff as possible when I move and draggin a laptop everywhere across the country and camping isnt what i wanted. My new smartphone will do the job for the time being

I love asus products 
My processor idles at 1.6 GHz but will operate at 3.7 GHz under full load.
It's an unlocked i5 with turbo boost technology switched on in the bios.
I could over clock the sucker to a stable 4.5 GHz but wanna prolong the life of my cpu.
I got the aftermarket heatsink in case I oc it

bought it on boxing day so i got a good deal

The only thing I like about macs is the mac os.
Unix is a good os, but apple products are way overpriced 
I actually had os x lion running on this rig, but I scrapped it because I hardly used it.
No more hackintosh for me.

Upgrade to 2 gb of ram, reinstall the os, and call it a day.
That box really isn't worth upgrading, imo.
If you at least up the ram and reinstall, it should be a lot better.
You shouldn't have to reboot it twice a day.
That would just plain piss me off
