i would just use the highest percent alcohol you can find and thats it put it in your piece shake it up for a couple minutes pour that shit out and repeat if necessary one time works for me so it should for u to.

I'd boil it gently in a pot of water. Resin will soften up and float to the surface. Then you can clean the pot with a scrubber sponge and some soap.
