Hey, I finished my box up and am now in the process of picking out an exhaust fan. I'll give some dimensions on my box first.
its 1.6ft x 3.3ft x 4.2ft That makes the total volume around 22 cubic feet. My ambient temperature is 81 Degrees F, I keep A/C on at 78 but for some reason the temperature gauge reads differently at 81. So I believe a 4" inline exhaust fan that pushes 190cfm good enough to maintain temperature stability? I plan on using a 150w HPS grow light also.
any comments or suggestions highly appreciated! thanks!~
What you want to do is get a vented hood. That way you can cool your light venting out all the air at the same time. A 4 inch should be fine for that small of an area. Sorry for the VERY slow response.

A1 reply, that is exactly what I concluded. I read up on making a cooled hood via the round bake pyrex method. All being pulled with the 4" inline fan. I will also decided further along if fan boosters will be needed to keep the cooled air flow moving more rapidly.
