The little leaves coming out the top, the tips r green but the middle are brown then the bottoms of the leaves r green, my stem isn't green also is that a problem. I don't want my first grow to die  .

and fill it out. what is the pH of your water? Did you soak the rockwool cube in pH'd water? What are your growing conditions? More info would be great

Hydro Growers: 1. Are you growing from seed or clones? Seed

4. What type of hydro system are you using? Ebb flow
5. What brand/type of nutrients are you using? Have only used water so far to soak cube
6. What is the Ph of your nutrient solution?it was at 5.8 when I soaked
7. What is the PPM/EC of your tap water? Idk what that is
8. What is the PPM/EC of your nutrient solution?idk
9. What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? Idk
10. Does your PPM/EC show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check?idk
11. Does your pH show a rise or fall when you do your daily check?idk
12. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? No
13. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? 4 35 watt floresent swirled bulbs not tubes. (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights")
14. How close are your lights to the plants? 3 inches
15. What size is your grow space in square feet? Main room is 5x7 will be moving them to a 2x2 tray in a week or so when all have sprouted
16. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? Idk still have to buy temp checkers but a lil warm
17. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? No
18. How much experience do you have growing. no physical experience but I'm constently looking up and writing down notes, graphes, bites and anything I can get my hands on that may help.me for any prob at anytime

First let me say I am no expert so don't take my word as god. but at only 3 days old your baby doesn't need too much light yet you may want to pull them back to about 6". I know flou light don't get very hot but until you have established roots it is very delicate. Has the seed shell completely separated? Do you know the strain you are sprouting?

It looks like it's burnt. What are the temps running at? Is there a humidity dome on it?

@hawk- there in plastic ziplock bags, can't buy temp.checkers till Thursday, I have a ph meter for water, I just need a air checker, is that all or should I get more

I pulled it out of the bag, should I just us clean bottle water for the next week or so until I move it to the pot so I don't burn it with the nutes and so it can get a lil bit stronger

So bottled water is good in the way that I can open it and just pour right, but tap I need to let sit for like 2 days before use, right?

Distilled bottled water you can open up and feed. Tap water needs to have the pH checked as well as your PPM to know where you are starting at.

PPM = Parts Per Million.
It's measuring the total dissolved solids in water, you can also measure by EC, Electrical Conductivity.
I prefer PPM though.
Sounds like ya got some reading to do man. I recommend this book.

You can also have your local water department analyze your tap water for a very minimal cost.

our tap water here fluctuates depending on the season. i check it periodically, seems to be quite a bit higher in the summer.

Poured clean water on it and put it in with the clay balls, its doin great now, my other for got Chhem on them  so I got5 more germing

What do u mean, I left them in the cup of water for a day or 2 until they cracked open, then I put it into the rockwool and made sure the cube was wet all cost, then it sprouted lil, is that bad, or do some strains made like a lil bush? It's still grown but its lil compaired to urs

Mine are just a little streched but ill fix that when i transplant but yours looks a little sick to me try and get a good pic over it so we can see the top and the other ones didn't even sprout yet i germ in a paper towel that works the best for me

I had to germ 5 like just a day ago, I thought I took yo to a week for them to grow sometimes
