Rams horn, dramatic curling
    #626537 - 06/07/12 09:21 PM (11 years, 9 months ago)

Hello growery heads. First off is outdoor,  i have had no problems up untill now.
I had sprayed with a mix of zero tolerance, neem, dr bronners, as i am fighting
Ants and aphids and losing.

I have feed them nothing but water. The new growths are curling up badly, yellow fan leaves and burns on the ridges of the fan leaves, rust colored. No drooping. I am posting from my phone and am buzzed, so forgive my hasty question, please help me, between ants, aphids & this horrible curling, i am losing my mind.

Well did you spray the mixture off?  I would try avid over any of those other natural remedies.

Avid is not cheap.  It's quite spendy actually.  But it actually works as opposed to this "natural" crap.

Yes you're supposed to rinse these solutions off.  This is probably your problem.

Not much you can do unless you want to cough up cash.  You can go down to your local nursery and see what they have for aphids.

If OP, is really desperate, s/he can catch ladybugs. IME they've started eating aphids immediately after being caught and introduced to ailing plants. Sometimes they give me the finger anyways and try to get away. Still worth a shot if you have time and no money.
