First off, reading through the details of your setup, I just have to say I love how you went about working with CFL's. It sounds like you have great light distribution for all of the plants, great wattages, and you planned ahead with when to induce flowering to make sure your plants don't get too tall.

It didn't seem like it in the grow journal, but, basically, this problem isn't apparent on any of the other plants, right? Also, do you remember how it went the last week or so for the plant? When did this problem first arise, and then what was the sequence of events? I'm wondering how many times you gave it Super Bloom, at which dosage, and when it happened in relation to the problem...

Way to early to use a superbloom. The leaves look like they are getting to much phosphorus.

Yep, this is what I was leaning towards. Hefe, I think you'll need to get some fertilizer that provides some potassium as well, because that stuff is all phosphorus and your plants will need more potassium as well.

Look into Pure Blend Pro. 10 Mil per gallon. PBP is a organic product and it takes a lot to burn plants. Good for the new grower cause it's forgiving if you fuck up.

I'd like to recommend GH Flora Series. I haven't actually tried it yet, but it is pretty much the standard when it comes to nutrients. There is pretty solid data on how to dose it, and if you get all three parts (Grow, Bloom, and Micro), it'll give you more flexibility in deciding specifically how much of each nutrient your plants are getting depending on what they are saying they need.

Flush the soil, fertilize lightly, hold off on the super bloom until the last couple weeks before the final flush.

You want all three. One for the grow cycle, one when the plant starts to bud and the Liquid Karma is used all the time. Don't worry about the Super Bloom.

i had that issue once real bad... the leaves curled under and eventually went necrotic & died off.  Could not figure it out, figured it was heat stress, or over fertilization of some kind.

how did your situation turn out?  did the flush save the leaves?

The older growth (affected leaves) are still curled under. However, the new growth is lush and green with beautiful pistils. Hopefully it stays healthy til harvest.

that was the same for me, then i started noticing the necrosis, and then it was just 1 plant doing it, and then the other plants started doing it also.  :goodluck:

after research, Phosphorus deficiencies, not toxicities, cause the tips of leaves to curl under & eventually develop necrotic splotches like I had.  Which could be from PH as phosphorous is the most sensitive element and a too much in zinc can stop the absorption of phosphorus, while also being necessary for the uptake of it! it begins to decline absorption under 6.0pH according to the chart listed in the medical marijuana growers bible.... but 5.8 - 6.8 can be "acceptable" but all nutes are best absorbed @ 6.3-6.5 for potting soil anyway.

Do you have an accurate reading on your pH? I see above 6.0-6.5, but are you using to get that a digital ph meter or a soil ph meter you stick in potting soil? or the stuff you put in a tube and wait for the color to change?

Too much phosphorus would show off signs of deficiencies in the micronutes like iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium & copper..  Zinc being the most common, apparently.

Have the tips started to... seem like they are drying up but not turning brown/red ? but like a dark dried up burnt looking green? or noticed any spots on the leaf??

Phosphorus deficiencies can cause the veins on the underside of the leaf & leaf stems to appear  reddish too, but that's harder to notice sometimes.

And here are some pictures of the droopy/curled under leaves:
(More detailed shots to come soon)

Notice on the 1st picture on the left? some of those leaves in the back have yellowish red splotches on the tips and the leaf itself.  Early signs of magnesium or even potassium deficiencies and potassium can cause leaf curling too!  They just dont seem yellow enough to be K deficiency; but often is misdiagnosed because its similar to a magnesium deficiency.

and K defi; starts on the lower branches first and works it way up.  And the bottom leaves seem somewhat bluish-green w/ a yellowing green towards the tips (where not already yellow/red burns)

...Just some info from Jorge Cervantes Grow Bible, hope it helps.
