yeah i haven't gone to any parties...they do look crazy though. i live somewhat close to NYC i bet they have some crazy stuff in the city, i don't really know anyone who's into it though.
eventually i'll get around to going to one and see what its all about

I have never been and don't know anyone whos into it. It looks like a totally good time and i would like to try some E or E + LSD. I'd try LSD before trying it at that place. Psytrance music feels like a trip of its own.

How do you guys find the names of the festivals near you? Google turned up a few for me but not too close. Also how do you know whats good if you don't know anyone who attends these?

Really, it's nothing new. This has likely been happening as long as humans have had language and culture.
Those in power have power, until they don't.
I'm often content just remembering that most of these oppressive folk are expecting eternal life in 'heaven', apparently in the same form as when they were in their physical peak.
They'll be fucked in the end when they go nowhere and stay here with the rest of us as a flux of energy.
