Heyooo! Yeah, the big 2-1 is coming up in 10 days. Supposed to be a big day and all, right? Well here I sit, trying to give enough of a damn to do something in celebration. Thing is, while I don't hate drinking, I don't love it either. If you can't tell from my name, I am for the most part a weed man. I live in a weedy state, know weedy people, do weedy things.
At the same time, I don't want to look back in a few years and go "shit man, you could have had such a memorable blast but instead you just smoked all day, which is what you always do lol." But going from bar to bar, drinking too much, making an ass of myself, and possibly puking my balls out in front of a bunch of strange people isn't really appealing either.
So I come to you, fellow weed people. What did you do for your 21st birthday? Any suggestions to a guy looking to have a memorable good time? If all else fails, I'm allowed into the many strip clubs that dot the Portland landscape so I could always go drink and look at titties hehh.

Go to Devils Point or Casa Diabla. Best strip clubs in town.
And with the awesome beer we have in this town you should definitely go do something.

I have found some damn fine beers since I came to live here. Widmer Bros for the win! Casa Diabla the man says...  Well unless something better comes up, I believe we are formulating a plan here!

Widmere is mediocre for this town man. Try Alyssian, BackPorch, Hopworks.
Yeah, Devils Point and Casa are the 2 best in town. Casa is a little out of the way, but I've literally seen strippers eat each other out on stage there.

Both of them will be pretty far away as I'm waaay out in Beaverton lol. Casa is a bit closer though. I'm thinking I may take a cab home lol. I don't drive drunk, see.
Widmer is mediocre, huh? It beat the old standby's when I lived in Tx, being Shiner and Bud. If I'm gonna buy ONE 6 pack of good craft beer, what should it be? Bit of a tough question, so I'll try and help. I know I like ales and lagers. I also know that I'm not big on stouts. At least, I didn't like Guinness. So, whats good?

If it's an Ale I would go for Deschutes Red Chair NWPA. That's a North West Pale Ale.

Shit, niiice. Alrighty, pair this with the 3 day trip (back) to Hawaii Imma take some time this month and it's shaping up to be not so shabby lol.
Best part about having 4-19 as a birthday? I can ask for 4-20 off and nobody goes "mmhm, stoner" at work!

See, I wanted to try and avoid that situation. Kinda one of the typical "heeey, Im 21" reactions in my mind. Not that theres anything wrong with it by any stretch but hey. I wanted to do Vegas but it turns out all my friends are penny-less fuckoffs who can't commit so saving 2 dollars much less the money required to get to LV and do that town justice. One of these days, man.... one of these days!

I spent my birthday smoking all day in the forest then eating chicken wings and drinking. then I remember being blacked out behind the closed down bank doing nitrous with some kids I've never seen before or again lol.
