first lucid dream * 1
    #615067 - 03/28/12 06:44 AM (12 years, 2 days ago)

I'm sure I've had them before but I really remember last nights.

I was at my aunts house and for some reason brought all my weed plants. some are smaller weaker looking ones so I decide to put them in her field.

I go outside to look for a spot and end up jumping off a cliff into a private pool lol. I get out and I'm running through this pool house thinking "ok, this is a dream. maybe I'm gonna find a really good spot to grow weed this summer. I have to focus and get out of this place".

I was getting chased by 2 guards so I took a hostage and made them open the door. I shot the hostage and the guard

then I was running and hiding in the woods. I never did find a magical place to put my herb. but I remember thinking rationally in my dream and it was cool. I've done it before bit it always woke me up in the process.

Of course it's happening inside your head.

I've had a similar dream last night, my father was giving me a lift to my friend's house, and I had all my weed & shrooms in my bag. Then we get pulled over by a cop, my father doesn't know I had drugs.

The I start freaking out, because I feel that the weed is smelling a lot, and the cop ask me to get out of the car with my bag. I do it, but as soon as I am out of the car, I run the fuck out of my legs into the woods and hide in a kind of little house (that was in the woods near the high school I went to for real). I hide in it, and find some blotter tree (yeah I know WTF), it looked like a mango tree but instead there were blotters growing ...

Then I find myself the luckiest guy in the world, but at that moment, I hear the cop enter the house, so I hide behind a thang (which I remember was quite a fail if I didn't want to get caught. But when the cop arrives in the room, he just acted like nothing was going on. He left the house, then I jumped out of my hiding spot, and started taking all the blotters on the tree.

Afterward, I leave the house, try to take the bus, but as soon as I enter it, I feel the blotters kicking in and the bus driver stops abruptly while I was trying to find a seat. I did a front flip and hit my head on the metal bar that standing people hold to be sure they don't fall. Then I woke up for real.

Fucked up dream I tell you ...

Rasjeph, it seems to me as if your leaving out something, or you and a lot of us just have an awefully low competence for dreaming :x

Is a lucid dream, to you, simply a few recollectable images from your brain that you cant really make any sense of, or do you actually have an idea of why what is happening, in what direction everything is going, does it have an affect on your waking life? Im curious as to that I never really lucid dream, I just have some vivid dreams once in a while, waiting for paradise to open up xD if I can call it that in whatever way I just did it, if so, yea, I called it that, and so yes, its called kinda that.

But you could try to explain what youre thinking of under this kind of a dream and afterwards it, what happened goddamnit, whats this shit with shooting hostages and so on, I cna understand that youd use ur consiousness to check around your life area for grow spots but, I dont get it xD

explain!

is checking for growspots waking up? If so it kinda makes sense to me, but are you even aware of whats happening or wth are you doing? :b

I lost .________.

You almost had a lucid dream. They are when you not only know that your dreaming while in the dream but also have complete control over everything. You can do anything or be anyone whenever you want, total control.

When I was first getting treated for cancer years ago when I first found out about it I had to go to a sleep specialist in Palo Alto California and while there they taught the methods on how to have them when you want to. There are plenty of websites that have differing methods but most of them work if from a credible source. Trust me it's worth learning. Takes about 6 months or so to learn how to do it but it's not all that hard to learn, if I can learn it anybody can.

:happyweed:

Oh yeah, on nights when you do it for some reason (others at this sleep clinic place also said this) when you wake up you feel like you just ran the Iron Man. Having lucid dreams make for a cool adventure but a shitty nights sleep.

ooooohhh maybe that's why I'm still so sleepy this morning. I've always been interested in learning how to do it but never bothered. I might try harder now haha.

hmm, if I am to do something, which I am, itd be hanging with the girl ive always had a giant crush on, smoking incopious amounts of pothash and other weird plants, chill in other starsystems, watch the late evenings as they go down, heh, just enjoy all we have and share all the goodness I have with everyone else.

Its a long time to be alive, and were just sitting here on the growery grovin away lol, I wanna see those damp green colors of weirdness comming out of mah buds ;>

Groovin it far out there, to absolutley not knowone noes where, I bet itll be amazing :>

I lack the feature of 0.1second marijuana growing these days, would prove for a lot of healthy activity in mah lounges, damned sandal.

I lack the words for further digestion of today, I miss some sunsets and all that goes with em, too much time at the psychiatrt ward the past years, with not a god damn thing to do than ponder as to why the door is loccked all the time when I locked it myself, makes ya kinda mental.

But I definitely dream of better days with the family, we just need to move out into the open these days, experiencing some of then splendidness of the universe, so many things to be enjoyed other than sitting behind desks all day long..

Thats about all I can write about right now, hope things are turning out to the better, I almost saw two people getting almost killed in here a few weeks ago, that was kinda gross... Not a funny experience to have, things are mad man.

lol, hybrid, that's not lucid dreaming :lolsy:

Every time I stumble into a lucid dream, I just jump into the air and take off flying, really really fast, over forests and mountains mostly. The key, for me, to sustaining awareness in a dream is to not focus on any one thing, but to keep changing and shifting my focus.

Lately though, I've come to realize that sleep is for relaxation and rejuvenation. If your mind is active, you are not fully relaxed and have not reached the deep state of rest that is required to keep sane and alive. If we could reach this state faster and more fully, we wouldn't need as much sleep.

Hairy super penises are better than dying people :>

The last vivid dream I remember, was a month ago or something, I was at this little place of sorts with old friends and people I didnt know, they had running for fun, gaming and music rooms and all sorts of shit, and most people there were abit of magicians themselves, There I flew over some pretty snowy treetops weighing around in some inear some city.

I also saw other cool places such as big schools alike those from harrypotter, just dont remember much from them and they seemed abit... oddernized, neways, there was loads of cool stuff in my dreams, I really just wanna expand it these days and see more, cause I aint got much in mind except some sorta full flying colors magical trip to the core of the moon xD or something alike that, should be funny, with music!
Brilliance.

I miss dreaming. Tis usually funny.

I've had many lucid dreams, and I've recalled many many many dreams in the past 3 years (I have about 800 notebook pages written down).

The feeling of knowing you have all the control in the world (literally, I've used planet earth as a ping pong ball in space before) is a great one, it really opens up your mind to the potential of one's experiences. I won't elaborate on all of the one's I've had right now, but I've had some mixed ones.

"Don't give in to amazement"  :tmckenna:

You can't overexcite yourself or you will wake up. There are techniques that can take your mind off of your situation or to keep you in a dream state. Dream spinning is what I use, where you simply spin. And as the motion blur happens, the shapes get lost and distorted and they change. If you close your dream eyes and spin, and imagine some place, you can go there. Potential for ANYTHING to happen is there, which is why it is so amazing!

Flying is really fun but it's hard to contemplate at first. It's not just going "go, dream!" (at least for me). Rather it's telling yourself that gravity doesn't have to exist in a dream, and then you begin to fly.

The first few times I remember consciously flying in dreams it was spontaneous, I found myself falling toward the earth. I don't recall any fear, just the feeling of the wind and the sight of the trees coming at me. The decision to fly was not an intellectual one that I had to contemplate, but was an action of will, intent. I intended to pull myself out of the dive and my will to do it took over, leading to a flight above some very nice moonlit forested area, albeit at a high rate of speed, I remember a strong feeling of turbulence while moving through the air.

Other times I have tried to fly from the ground and found it difficult to contemplate, like you say. But I was forgetting to let the impulse of my will direct my body. I was trying to intellectually command my body, as if focusing on each muscle used to take a step and not being able to follow through and walk, or in this case fly. When I relaxed, like floating in water, I floated in the air. Remembering that if I wanted to move, or fly, I had to form a more physical and emotional urge to move, I then took off at great speed.
