ok i am runing a 24" 96W 4x 6400K T5 HO Fluorescent Lamp. the veg box is 2½" x 2½" 5 feet tall what is the nexted best lights

A 250W HPS or if you're ballsy and have good ventilation, 400W HPS

Sorry, didn't see that this was just for veg. Take everything I said and change it to MH instead of HPS.
But honestly for veg your T5 should be fine.

Mabye try out a mufti-spectrum LED light for around $100~. Stealthy and cheaper electricity, too.
