Does anyone know where I can go to find MJ specific formulas for micro propagation media? It seems that the exact recipe for your plant of choice is necessary for any hope of success.

Not really. If you have the thousands of dollars and access to resources it would take to set of a lab to properly micropropagate, why wouldn't you just buy a few 1000W HPS's and set up a grow room.
Anyone with the knowledge to micropropagate would NOT have to come to the Growery to find proper media formulations. The reason marijuana growers do not micropropagate is because it's very expensive, prone to failure and IMPRACTICAL.

I'm not looking to set up a big ass grow show. I have the equipment and facilities I need and certainly did not invest that heavily. I am very familiar with tissue culture and am not asking if it is easy or practical. If you don't have any idea as to how to answer my simple question, why don't you refrain from replying?

Ok, Chill. Don't get your panties in a bunch. Personally, if I had access to that type of equipment and facilities I'd be doing something worth while; like making ecstasy! Good luck finding your answers.

I don't believe x or any other forms of meth are worth while. I doubt my lab interests will ever go beyond tissue culture. I would love to hear from anyone with any direction to go looking in for formulas!

I'm not saying it can't be done. What I'm saying is that people that GROW herb don't micropropagate. For reasons I mentioned earlier.
If you're only looking to grow a little smoke for yourself and friends go buy a 400W HPS and some seeds. I'm not telling you not to do it. I'm just trying to be helpful (and practical).

Hemp, well no screamin eagle shit! Didn't even dawn on me to check that out. That link is perfect. Without those formulas it wouldn't have been feasible for me to play with this. I don't have the money or time to start from scratch and try it all. I'm not thinking this is some great easy way to grow herb. Sometimes I do things because I can or to find out if I can. Something sparked this interest as a way around a very special problem. If it proves to be a useful way around said problem I will share. I'm hopeful at best. I look forward to working with plant tissue even if it never provides anyone with any smoke Thanks for not just pointing me in the right direction, but for giving me exactly what I needed!

I have perfected several protocols and am considering selling the chemicals as pre made formulas. I have establishment, multiplication, callus, seed starting, and one for dirty plants.

BTW, that Chinese protocol isn't bad but it gives you lots of chances for vitrification, something you don't want. Look into GA3.

necro thread lives again....
there are pdf files of "plants from test tubes" floating around the net. i dont think this stuff is too expensive or rocket science either. i have seen mediums that were food safe like coco water and banana goo. Try search "kitchen chemistry" tissue culture. Usenet news feeds actually have a whole lot of active tissue culture and meristem groups.
