im gonna take a stab at that and say

its possible to pollinate only one(ish) branch by using diluted pollen and and a paint brush and keeping the selected branch quarantined somehow- a bag or something.

edit-
oh, you are saying can you pick it before seeds pop up? in that case 99% no- even if they are not easily visible seeds they could beso small they fit threw your grinder screen.
also once the plant starts seeds it dose not put as much energy into THC production and looses vigor.

that one i have wondered myself
what will happen to a plant that is producing seeds if it is reveged.
Maybe we could have a TC share some light.

Hes asking what if he cut down all but a few branches for harvest, and then pollinated the remaining branches for seedage.

Good question, albeit a little bit misphrased. I look forward to someone answering you. I'm sure its possible, I'm not sure how good the seeds will come out though.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

I have not tried it.. though Im in the same boat.  I have a plant with 2 pollinated branches producing seeds.  Iw ant to most of the plant cut down most of the plant but leave the buds with seeds to mature more.  I have not tried it yet though have read that this is possible.  What someone else recommended to me was to harvest a few branches at a time to harvest to stress the plant less.  The decreases the odds of the plant stunting and the seeds to stop forming.  Though like I said I have not actually tried this myself.  It is interesting to think about what might happen if you put the plant back into re veg.  I would think the seeds would stop growing or the plant would die or both.  The plants purpose is to produce the resin to catch the pollen to make seeds then it dies.  If you take all the buds that haven't been pollinated then it really no longer has a purpose to continue.  less it's purpose to continue would be to go until the seeds are done growing.  If I try it I will be sure to post my results.

I have a plant that I cut down completely except for one branch that mutated and was stunted. I cut off literally 98% of the plant. I simply stuck it back in the veg room and let it chill there for 2 weeks, and it had new growth.

If that works, I'm sure your seeding project will work. I'm not sure how well it'll work, but it seems like it should work.

so it is possible to re-veg after budding? ????????  I have read that after seed production the plants will die, for it has lived through its life cycle.. If this is true, then if seed production never gets started then the plants could live indefinite and could re-bud more than once in its life time. please keep us posted with some pics to confirm your findings .  My understanding is that budding is faze 1 of seed production. I will say plant will only stay alive up until seeds are ready then plants will die.

you know they say cannabis is an annual plant, but I beg to differ! Only where it's not native is it grown as an annual. In the tropics Sativa's can be harvested, and left, and they will grow back indefinitely.I once had a sativa bagseed I harvested in Florida, all the way down to the ground. There were maybe one or two leaves left on the thing.Well, months later,I was back out there, and I happened to look, and the plant had totally reveged back up,and was huge!!! indoors is easy too,you just have to leave enough plant material on the plants, and it helps to throw em back under longer days,24/0 is what I use.I'll be reveging my purple skunk, and white widowX after harvest, and I'll show you guys how easy it is:-)

Yes, it 100% revegged. I cloned it though, and I'm not so great at cloning so I might have lost it.

Its pretty burned, but hasn't fallen over and died or anything...we'll see if it roots.

In a ideal situation, you'd take clones before hand and not have to worry about revegging...but I learned its definitely an option if need be.

yeah, since I grew mine pretty much 12/12 from seed, the only way to keep these strains is to revege, then take clones.I hope after all my talk, this actually works:smirk:
