I was under the impression originally that cutting off lower branches would focus more energy to the top buds. However, I remember someone here telling me after like week 2 - 3, cutting them off does more damage than good. I don't remember at all, but someone will answer you.

I'd personally leave them. More popcorn buds = more hash = more edibles :yesnod:

leave it as is but next time you should do some maintenance before kicking into flower to insure good air exchange and such.

dip a razor in alcyhol and cut them, soke them in water till you get some "roottone", then cote them in rootone and put them in jiffypucks, use saran wrap to keep the humidity at 90%, fresh airing them out daily FAE, in 10-17 days some will have roots and some will be dead. these are clones, some killas call them cuttings. why waste known feminine plants when you could asexually reproduce them??? btw nice plants

i have also 3 plants at the end of vegging stage, i plan to switch to flowering light cycle in about a week. would it be ok for me to remove side branches now? i plan to stay with 4 or five growing tips per plant, is that ok? considering im growing in a 11 liter containers which is almost 3 gallons how many growing tips should i leave? (i am growing 3 plants under 250v hps and the strain is cheese )

IMO you're always better tying it down than trimming it off.

If you want to remove some, work from the bottom up, but I'd suggest just leaving it.

i find it helpful to thin out branches on large trained indoor plants
more airflow leads to less problems.
i have noticed the more sativa a strain is the more i find myself trimming branches.
there's lines between helpful and not, ya know.

i (normally) get rid of anything that wont result in at least a bowl when dried
this past harvest i left more undergrowth than ive ever left before
didnt like it

if you leave everything, at least thin out the unnecessary leaves

but i would take all that junk off

and let your colas flower! not, whatever those lil branches are called

and it helps keep mites out of the picture

I ended up cutting some of it out but not all that much...  And to my surprise the lower and inner buds are actually swelling pretty big!

I have it in a grow tent that is 3 X 3 X 6.5 and I am using a 400W HPS  I vegged this for 30 days under a 90 w LED with 2 W led bulbs in it.

I am using a super small DWC setup for this plant.  It has only a 3g rez.  Now with the root ball in it it really only holds 2 gallons of water.  I am using only sensi grow  A&B and Sensi bloom A&B for the entire grow.  During veg I fed it sensi grow only once.  The rez it is in has (2)6 inch airstones on a walmart 30-60g pump.  Temps range from are between 70 - 80 throughout the day.  I have a 6in carbon filter with a 440cfm inline fan blowing hot air out the top to another room.  I also have a regular fan blowing in fresh air from the outside of the tent on the bottom ducting.

I tied this plant down with twisty ties to a few branches 3 weeks into veg which resulted in this multi branch bush.  I check the PH everyday and adjust it to 5.8.

The picture above is week 5 of flowering
