I've got some specific things I always take with me when I go on a trip. I'm finding that when I do trip I'm usually going somewhere to do it. So I always pack up a large beach towel (I need a gd outdoor picnic blanket), my ipod, noise cancelling headphones, mindfold (it's a blindfold), lots of water, a warm jacket with lots of pockets, a beanie in cold weather, chap stick, backup headphones and my phone, a flashlight, a lighter(s), and a pair of black gloves that have three led lights in the fingertips of them (these are fucking awesome!) I think that's about it. do yall take anything with you? I put all that shit in a backpack.

That sounds similar to the things I have in my bag, but I always have it, not just when I'm tripping
I suggest looking into maybe getting some more toys if you want. Lasers, astrojax, hacky sack. Those are other things I have in mine that you don't. Just a suggestion
I have a really cool beach blanket. I got it for like $5. If I go to the ocean again I'll get you one

I didn't think I was any good, but I recently picked it back up and was reminded of all the time I wasted in high school playing while I should have been learning lol.
I'm also stupidly good with those little Tech Decks.

I prefer my trips to be a bit more simple and definitely don't like to haul around a bunch of stuff, let alone anything expensive or valuable. My checklist for a trip is usually just to make sure there's some pot around to take the edge off the come up and to land nicely, some fruit, and any available source of music. Some nature and a home-base and I'm set.
Oh, and I challenge you fools to a hacky-sack smackdown

GLOW STICKS. The ones that you can wear as necklaces and bracelets. When you swing them around on acid, they look like feathers/flames. and you really can't forget lots of water. Even if you are in another dimension, drinking water feels right.

Yeah. Thats a common problem my friends and I have. Not bringing enough water.
Usually theres plenty of alcohol, but then suddenly we're dying from dehydration like 3 miles out in the woods
You'd think we'd learn...and we're starting to haha.

All I require for an ideal trip is either a good buddy or a serene spot in nature
if im going to a buddys house planning on tripping ill usually bring a backpack with comfy clothes, my laptop, a toothbrush, headphones, and whatever else Ill need
in fact thats usually what I keep with me all the time no matter where I am or where im going

When ever "the trip" is going to take place outdoors or at a friends house, these are the necessities I try to have on me every time. In a backpack of course, I have my back pack with me at all times though, it's like my man purse
-Water
-Fruit (mostly bananas & kiwis)
-Chocolate (Dark chocolate, at least 65%)
-A beer, or two (something good and hearty, like an IPA)
-Some seeds or nuts, just for something to munch on.
-Sun Glasses (I feel much more comfortable when my eyes are covered)
-A pencil & sketch pad (I rarely draw/sketch whilst tripping, but always have it on hand)
-Flashlight
-Cellphone (though it's always turned off when I trip)
-Comfortable clothes (usually sweats/pajamas if I'm indoors)
-Vitamins, magnesium, ginkgo biloba, and Valerian root (magnesium and ginkgo helps with muscles tension and vasoconstriction, valerian to take the edge off a bit in case things get too heavy, and it's nice to have for the comedown)
-Some pot, my pipe, and an extra lighter of course.
I think that's it. At this point I know what things I need and enjoy having on hand, and what things that don't need to be brought along....Somehow, some way, though, my pockets always seem to end up filled with a bunch of random shit by mid trip .

Sure, but once you've been there done that a bunch of times, its fun to have some toys or distractions too.
It depends on where you want to go with it.
