i never knew. i just looked at one of the larger stems from my most recent plant, and the stems do actually have trichs.
they just arent very concentrated or the stalked kind. they are those little ones tight to the leaf and most of mine were really mature when the leaf/calyx trichs are mostly cloudy.
def. not worth smoking, but maybe enough of them would work for edibles.

hmmmmm..... Noted!
I tend to throw my stems away, but I've never thought too much about it...
To hell with trying to smoke them, but if they really do have some trichs it might be proper to throw them in with a hash run???

I probably wouldn't mix them in with your real nice frosty trim, but maybe a really fast qwiso would yield something worth while. I'll save up a bunch and bump this.

many plants have different kinds of trichomes, they are not necessarily what we want.
- i guess eating em couldn't hurt.
