the third is one of the stories from 1001 nights
and it reads like a biblical story
but it does have some recipes that might make it worth a listen

Wow part one was amazing the part about leaving Damascus really hit home for me......... his accounts of a hashish ego death are pretty on the money. This is not propaganda these are damn fine 19th century trip reports.
