I was still too far south to see them but we still have some time until the expected peak of the solar cycle so it may still yet happen again, and at greater intensity.

I saw a meteor like...really really close. I thought it was a plane it lasted so long. And it was still daylight outside.

Fuck, so lucky.
I've seen them once before but up north where I'm from it only happens on horribly fucking cold near death nights. Maybe it happens more, but you can't see unless its a clear night, and no clouds = no insulation = cold night.
