Ya he had mad cancer or something. Thats why he stepped down from the company and let that other guy replace him. For his health.

Not sure what was wrong with him.

No dood. He stepped down because he felt Apple could survive without him. He stepped down prior for pancreatic cancer, be he got rid of it.

yeah, if i had to guess id say he was told he was terminal 5 weeks ago when he resigned.  then spent the rest of the time finalizing his affairs and so forth.  a guess.  for all i know he was murdered by the cia.
