These days, all I'm catchign is odd jobs.
Helping a friend build a log house.
Helped another friend this week clear do some landscaping, and drop a couple trees.
Shit hard to find these days.
Unless your into Management, then there are many fast food joints looking.

I found the best honest thing to put for leaving previous jobs is "voluntary." It's honest, concise, and does not give reason to imply that you are inflexible in any way.
I just got a job at Raising Cane's which is an almost complete 180 from the fine dining that I'm used to. I like it, there's lots a cool cats.
Go work at a dispensary. It's probably not all that great but I personally need my disillusionment first hand.

that shit got old quick.
I love environmental restoration but the commute to the city sucks balls.

I gave up looking for a job a month ago when I showed up for an INTERVIEW for a DISHWASHING position and they asked me for my RESUME >.<
I expected to demonstrate how well I can wash dishes not what level of education I compleated -.-
Thats about the best I can do untill I graduate, w/out working w/ people (a.k.a. acting fake), which I will never do again

I've had a small const co for 20 years.
Normaly work 4 to 6 people and some part timers.
Down to 2 and thankful for the work we do have.
The cool thing, the people that stayed around are like family.
The negitive side is having to deal with big egos.

I build fences and decks in the summer. And do renovations and construction in the winter....

I work at a Papa Johns, have been there for a couple months. Pretty much have gotten good at everything by now, and I close 5/7 of the nights. I figure I'll be a shift leader pretty soon, probably some time this summer.
I was basically just looking for minimum wage jobs though, I've got this job because once I start taking classes again I'll be able to hold it down. I basically just found all the restaurants around my house and applied online.

Yup, all the chemo went well and all gardens are fired up and running (All 64000 watts up and running). First batch of seeds and cuttings were realeased in the San Diego and in the Palm Springs areas. Next will be Oceanside area then central LA and then SF bay area.
Plus we have to get all the outdoor grows ready and running. This will be the first year we have outdoor grows in SoCal and NorCal like the indoor grows.

Shit man...Me too.
I have no car, my bike has fallen apart, and the public transit in this town is a joke. I have literally turned in applications to the same places multiple times over the last couple years, since I have no transportation I am limited to where I can apply. Talk about being stuck in a rut.
I am going to start talking to the local plant nurseries in the area, as they will probably start hiring for the spring sometime soon. If I could get hired on at a nursery for this spring/summer, that would be fantastic. Some money, working outdoors for the most part, working with plants, and I will probably learn a few things as well.
If that doesn't work out, then I'm not sure what to do ...

I always manage to luck out. Longest I have been unemployed not due to my own free will was about a month and a half.
I'm also young. So there's that.

I found my job on craigslist. I make wax hands at Renaissance Festivals around the nation. I will be leaving for Apache Junction Arizona on Friday.

I GOT A JOB OFFER TODAY!!!!!! I had one interview in 8 months. got the fucking job (like a boss!). the HR lady said they interviewed a LOT of people, several times. She was soooo complimentary and flattering. it was really refreshing to hear her say all that. Sooo, i start on Monday! It's been since 5/26/11 since ive worked. soooo this should be good for me. Tonight, i'm drinking a $120 bottle of  's wine to celebrate with some friends. i sure would like to get some bomb ass weed right now.

it's like an administrative type position working for an insurance company. i guess there's opportunity to advance. this job will be the lowest pay i've had in my professional career, and im stoked! In the last 6 months i've reduced my expenses so that i would be able to live comfortably working a min wage job at like 8 an hour. this one pays twice that. so i should have a nice bit of disposable income again. plus im harvesting my plants on sunday, so no more weed buying either! the universe is soo damn funny how it works. Last Thursday I was really upset. the next day i got a call asking for me to interview, out of the blue. tuesday was the interview. thursday i got the job.
