Probably because its an autoflower?
If you have more than one plant from the bag, maybe it got pollinated by a unstable autoflower?

It had to be a auto-flowering strain.
The bulb had nothing to do with it.

Only the top of one stalk flowered, it happened again with another plant, it was male again
