NBA FINALS: LAKERS WIN!
    #58387 - 06/16/08 08:28 AM (15 years, 9 months ago)

WOW! Lamar had 20 points, 11 boards, 4 blocks, and two huge free-throws at the end. Not to mention, his huge three in the fourth. Great game, Lamar.

Pau finally looked like a center again. 19 points, 13 boards, 6 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers. He just needs to keep Garnett off the glass.

I think Farmar played great! 5-9 for 11 points, a steal and a block. Good D, as well.

Lakers Smush of the Day (Note: STD denotes the Laker that played the poorest): Sasha again took bad shots and missed the open ones. 2-10 shooting.

Play of the Game: Kobe’s steal and dunk.

What to Look for Next Game: Look for the Lakers to get an early lead again, but hopefully build on it throughout the game — not blow it.

GO L.A.! BEAT the Celtics in Boston!!

IN THE LAKERS I BELIEVE!!
Who'll win Game 6, seriously?
You may choose only one

Almost blew it again though. They went from a 19 point lead back down to a 1 point lead and managed to regain from there.

Maybe. But Running, as a sport, is not.

Running is an activity . Many sports entail such activity.

Many sports are games.  You play them, not do them.

Here's Prefontaine getting beat at the Munich Olympics

No need to get butthurt over it, I just don't and won't acknowledge running as a sport.

So you hold an even more closed minded view of sports than I. And you are the one trying to preach? Tsk tsk, man. Tsk tsk.

Running: Well you take some steps forward as quickly as you can... than you take some more... and again... than you reach this line that you may or may not have already 'lapped'.

Basketball: Raw fucking skill and power stacked against each other in a combat that test the limitations of ones physical ability and mental ability of working with a team.

See, that term pedo gets thrown around a lot.
Is a 16 year old guy having sex w/a 16 year old girl a pedophile?
If not, then how is a 30 year old considered a pedophile for doing the same thing?
I think y'all need to look up the definition for pedophile.

Running: Stepping forward quickly on the side of a road or sidewalk with the :awesome: feel of lactic acid and endorphins coursing through your veins.  Alone discovering yourself and the world.

Basketball: Some dudes jogging around a rectangular wooden floor and tossing a ball into a circle suspended in the air.  With rules.

Fixed. :awesome:

I would be fairly surprised if LA wins it all. But 1 game at a time. I cant pick against Boston in game 6 because Boston is amazing at home.

Boston will win it all, despite my hate for them.

I believe that the Los Angeles Lakers can storm back from a 2-3 deficit and beat the Boston Celtics at TD Banknorth Garden tonight.

The Lakers Can Force Game 7. This young Lakers team can do what no other team has ever done before -- recover from a 1-3 deficit.

KEEP UP THE FAITH!!!

Angels from North & South, East & West,
Please, HELP the LAKERS Show Their BEST
and Beat the Celtics in Boston!!
