does anyone use their own chicken manure as a good source of N? I was wondering about a good way to turn my manure into a good fertilizer without burning my plants. I understand that chicken manure is extremely hot and cant be used fresh, so what process do i do to it? make a compost pile of layers of leaves and manure? Also unsure of the proper dosage.
