In order to grow good weed you need to be part carpenter, electrician, plumber, biologist, geneticist, chemist, and very willing to get dirty.
I've been working with power tools since I was 8, my dad is an electrical engineer who owned a 280 gal fish tank, and I studied biology with a specialty in genetics. Getting dirty comes naturally. I think my parents inadvertently trained me to be a weed grower.

Thanks all.
Yes, 8 hrs and today I was super weak and sore.
SCROG = More trimming. So I just rocked the headphones and power smoked through it.
No wet weight to repot. Really no way to get an accurate weight. 3-4 days and I will post the weight.
Hash to come in 2-3 days. Pics as always.
Last night, I took a hand full of fresh popcorn bud, maybe 2 grams finished product, and did an ISO 91% run and got some SICK butter/Wax. One hit and done. It was a super intense energetic high.
I think I'm going to fill gel capsules with my silk screen hash runs this go round. Not really sure how much product to use though. The capsules hold 250 mg . I think I will try a few different amounts.

Muse bro i'm really interested in your dry weight, as i'm thinking of doing a scrog after this grow if its really worth the effort...considering you had 4 plants it looks like it may be worth it...

I would say that it is worth it. I will continue to use SCROG when I get my first HID. I yielded almost 5 ounces on my last grow and hope to do better with this one.

thanks to your growlog, I am so keen now to try the scrog, lol
Even though its my first grow, I'm having trouble telling myself to wait till I'm more experienced, haha
So your basically just taking the tops and pushing it back under the screen right?
Is there anything else I need to know to successfully scrog? My chemdogs will be ready for training soon and I really wanna try it to get the same effect you had. With my 5 plants in a 4x4 tent, will my 400w hps be enough?
Oh yeah, real interested to find out your weight also, I'll be keeping my eye on this thread

Your set up sounds great and will yield way more than I'm going to.

Correct. I also tie down tops with twisty ties.
One thing I recommend is to remove all leaves and under developed growth beneath the screen. As your screen fills up the growth beneath it will get less and less light. If left to grow, the end result will be numerous underdeveloped popcorn buds that are using energy the top buds could be using and putting to better use.

This is my 5th grow, and I have gotten much better results with each grow.
My first grow was Mexican Brick bag seed. I started like most newbs do by watering it with straight tap water without knowing my pH. The grow was marred by mistake after mistake and compounded with overreaction after overreaction.
I underfed my plants on my first 2 grows.
My first 3, I picked too early. My last and this have been my first real successes. This grow could have gone longer.
I'm going to take a break, but my next grow will be Nirvana's Aurora Indica Feminized. I want to push the flowering time on this to get maximum couch lock.
