Anyone else think tolerance is a much greater factor than quality? Headies are great but I build up a quick tolerance and barely even get high after the third day or so. If I just smoke weekly I can get blazed as hell for 1/8th the price. Gotta love it. :thumbup:

After moving to the Emerald Triangle, and only smoking greens for about 3 years, someone at work invited me outside, and offered a bowl mof brownish weed..
I asked to see the rest of the bag, and, sure enough, was good ol' Mex. Brickweed. Same red-hairs, same seedy, stemmy, musty-smelling weed that I was familliar with before I moved. Not really into it, I took a few big hits...
Damn...it crept up on me, and I do believe I was Stoned!! Was suprising...
I hear all the time how cheap it is, especially towards the borders...Last I heard, somethin' like $400/lb (don't quote me on that)...my point is, Dirt-Cheap for Dirt-Weed..
Wouldn't mind adding some of that to my Medical collection just for somethin' different..Always nice to have variety..

Yes, it gets you high..

schwag is nasty. who knows what chemicals/pesticides have been sprayed on that shit. you always have to break up the bud, which sucks. it takes forever. also seeds are a bitch.

it's really not anymore economical. one time i broke it up, found out how much i was really getting when i bought an 8th after removing all the sticks/seeds/stems.

headies are just so convenient. tastes better. you don't have to smoke as much.

i'd smoke headies over schwag any day. but i'll still smoke that brick when when i want to roll a blunt. :shrug:

also schwag up here goes $20 or $25 an 8th (they call it mids, but its some of mexico's finest).  if you're lucky you can find it at $30 a quarter. complete rip off. why i never buy any. everyone just smokes headies or beasters.

I have honestly never ever had this "Schwag" you guys speak of, never seen it (besides pictures) or smoked it....Never have i found a single seed in my weed...

Don't get me wrong i have had some weed that's been sorta dry, or weed that was grown with a little to much chems so it taste like...well, not what weed should taste like....

And from the pictures i have seen of shchwag, what's the point?...

I agree schwag isn't always the best on it's own, but with a low tolerance its still fucking awesome, and it's also great for potentiating just about everything, especially at 60 an O.

Schwag varies

There's the nasty brown ultra compressed brick shit filled with seeds and stems that doesn't even smell like weed, I refuse to buy it even tho its 40/O around here

Then there's the stuff that's actually green, dark green, smells like herb, red hairs and such, still pretty compressed but smells more as you break it apart and gets you nice and high, not too many stems, not too many seeds, goes for around 60/O here can't beat the price

Occasionally there will be very nice stuff that's lime green, strong smell, good buds just compressed, maybe a couple seeds per quarter...goes for around 85/O but its pretty rare

All of that is considered schwag

Then there's always the $50/8th ultra ultra ultra good shit but I can never justify it when there are $60 O's that will get me nice and baked

If you still get pretty high and the price is right, don't worry about it

Our Green "Schwag" goes for 250/OZ...Never seen brown schwag for sale even

Actually I was referring to a QP(240) without thinking when I said 60/O
The singles are about 75-80 around here

However that nasty brown shit is always 40/O I've never inquired but prolly like 120 a QP, I'm sure it's really good for cooking but edibles from tons of people including myself have never worked on me much

I also have never smoked or seen shwag.  We have stuff called regs which has seeds but it's in buds.  Typically it's not bad and after a blunt I am definatly stoned.  With my budget I can't smoke the good stuff as much as I need to.  Besides for 20 a quarter you can't really beat it. 

Need to grow so I won't have to pay shit tho.

yep.  hell I've even gotten it with ever the slightest few crystals, nice hairs, smell and very little seed.  The only bad thing is it does range in quality but at least it's always 20 a quarter and is never brown compressed shwag.

doesn't that allow you to grow a couple plants??

you're in an apartment sure but from what I've read and seen pictures of, you can grow in a very small grow box that would fit in your closet

I've never grown because it's illegal in my area but I'm sure you could pull it off

as far as the spice you could do that too, just extremely slowly, use just a small amount of material and a small amount of solvent, put it in your bathroom with the windows open and a fan for good ventilation and I don't think it would be too much of a problem

this is assuming it's legal for you to do so

but yeah man just make sure you stay away from the bathroom for awhile haha\\ stay in a different room

my friend gets rid of herbs from time to time, and in the town he used to live he had to start getting dank because no one wanted to pay $15 and 8th for "decent" schwag.

so he moved to a similar sized town, another college town even, and had to go back to schwag. he had about 2 people wanting dank maybe once a week. everybody's poor as hell there. it's only about 90 miles away from where he lived first.

From what I hear tolerence has more to do with potency than anything so if you smoke dank everyday all day for a few days it will start to lose it's effect.  try switching to regs or brick smoke a blunt or two and you should get fucked up.

BTW I have been smoking for a pretty long time and I use to smoke 2 or 3 blunts of brick a night and always got high.  real high
