no one posts anything... i'd like to hear opinions, like yours... like i know that you probably don't like technical metal... well, because i'd bet you'd be more pleased to post in a thread where someone posted somekind of song with some silly references and say it's lounge material... yeah, like maybe a video or something... or maybe not, that's kinda gaywads.

waht is the big difference with posting music here, in general? it's kind, i dunno... unrealistic, i think? i mean, i posted in the music forum... nothing ever gets any respones except for a few threads that have been around for long enough... and then the stuff about solo artist and shows that people have seen and maybe some odd good threads about musical experiences... i don't see alot of sharing or chatting in general, other then posting the next dubstep track comes to mind, there isn't much else... other then the game music thread which is sick alotgether. .. i even made a metal thread.. oh well, it got ignored. so post something here. it's no big waste of server space... it's covered... by the fact that there is not any traffic. :shrug:

I'm mostly into DOOM/Stoner metal. And not just because its stoner metal, but because I really like the slow groove deep bass sound.

I used to have an old badass album from this band called Rhapsody, but lost it. Lots of violins and harpsichords.

Other than that, Children of Bodom is the only metal I can still tolerate on a usual basis. :shrug:

Personally, I hate when people try to categorize metal. Shit's stupid imo. With that being said though, what you just posted falls into the category of "Cheesedick Metal." Oh, and btw, Led Zepplin is NOT metal.

Dude I've heard every Zep song a billion times, I agree they are heavy metal I just think Sabbath is more metallic......... and Rush is prog-metal but I think of them in a whole other realm of music.
Zepp would be my favorite though.

Seen them live, meh..........they weren't that memorable because Sabbath played after them and blew the fucking doors off the place. Every band at ozzfest that night besides the rap-rock acts of the time were better, tighter and louder.

i used to think the same way about generalization too, btw, and said the same shit how there shouldn't be this and that it should just this and like yeah, but naw, i find there is too many different types of music that people DON'T listen to, that i do, so i DO use genre's to help define what i am asking and/or telling people bout with music "these days".
