i am bored. and want someone to chat with.

I'm more interested in the idea of a technology singularity in which technological progress becomes so rapid and intense that humanity is left to either join up with said AI or be quickly replaced and discarded as obsolete beings.

Where does AI get involved? i mean, you can say that it'd be like that even without some kind of AI. you could replace AI with consciousness, and it'd be a little more realistic, wouldn't it?

That's one of the main components of the singularity, the creation of AI and the implications for humanity.


No Krack, but I just finished Kurzweils book The Singularity Is Near, and it was great. Was the documentary any good?
