I have seen the same kind of thing, but with wolves in a reserve also... I will try to find it on youtube and link it.
I think the guy has to always wear the same clothes when he goes there, because they recognize him by odor, if he'd wear something else, they wouldn't know who he is (thats how it was with the wolves).
