as you can see it is a fair size. it is next to a piece of brown rice flower chunk. only found 2 of them not together but a couple days apart. have not seen any webs or eggs or other lil creatures on my plant's either.

ok so it looks like something other than a spider mite? so i should not show so much concern then?

I dunno brah? Can u get a better pic more close up? Alls I said is it "looks" like a tick. But I can not tell with the pic u provided.

if i find another 1 in my garden ill try to get a better pic. i do kno spider mites are wicked small and i noticed the 1 on the top of the plant the other time by standing over the area not really looking but i saw it was a big black speck.
those are the original pic's without me zooming in. like i said best my camera would do. and like i said if i see another 1 ill get a pic if i can.
edit:id imagine that spider mites would be the size of the specs of the rice flower and not the chunk?
