i'm totally newbie in cannabis growing and smoking. i have for first time a handfull of buds in note they are sticky. this is desirable as thc crystals are the sticky substance, isn't?

The buds are extremely sticky especially before harvest and during harvest. I've had a plant or two and by the time i was done manicuring my fingers felt like they had super glue on them

My buds are rarely sticky after completely drying. I had some that were recently though, but only during breaking it up, so I'm assuming it was leftover moisture for the curing process.
Sometimes I need multiple pairs of scissors, because mine get too gummed up to continue working. I have a pair of scissors that I dipped into iso, evapped in a little container, and actually got some smokeable hash from them  (note, that was after all possible scraping was done).

Yea if you cure properly hes right after the cure it wont be very sticky............untilllllllllll.............................you open them bitches up I guess thats why we cure for the better all around smoke.

My hands get so sticky. Can rub my fingers together and make finger hash.

lol yea dude this hash plant i grew like 2 years ago holy shit.......my scissors were literally stuck like super glue. I love finger/scissor hash its some of the best.

I started saving up my scissor hash in a ball. Should probably be smoked immediately, but I wanna get a gumball sized chunk haha.
I heard some people wear rubber gloves, then freeze them and chip off the hash after. I think I might give that a shot next time.

Thats what I do just because I don't want to smoke a bunch of nasty ass deadskin that sticky substance takes with it...Sometimes I stick with the hands if no gloves are around but gloves are the way to go IMO
