It's definitely doable, but keep in mind that after topping they take about 3-4 days to fully recover and start growing again so you'd (theoretically) be missing out on a couple days of 12/12 which could ultimately hurt your yields. I usually let them recover from the topping then make the flip.

I've done it a few times and never had trouble.

With autos, you kinda don't have time to top before they start to flower...so whenever I have an auto it gets topped into its flowering time usually.

Of course it's happening inside your head.
Why should that mean it isn't real?

spoton. you'll slow down your growth a little so it makes more sense to wait just a few days(i usually wait 7 when i do anything drastic to my plants) and then switch it.

thanks for the responses ,i guess if you let it recover for 4 days then flip you,d get i slight yield increase vs a faster harvest and a faster restart for the next run, cause what i was thinking is i got 2 to 3 weeks for this run to finish up and if i have 2 veg lights i could use one to induce flowering 2 weeks early as this run rippens up and room then comes available  ,faster reproduction
