Obviously it depends on the quality and quantity of the product, but let's for say an average toker or smoker.

Weed. An eighth a week is average for most here I'd say. That's $60 bucks a week.
Then for an average smoker, pack a day is $35 bucks.
Especially roll your owns, $10 bucks and you're good for a week.(for me a month, since i rarely smoke)

You can grow your own tobacco too, legally probably. Just hard to make all the toxic shit in cigs I suppose.

you are only allowed one tobacco plant in my area. at least that's how it was the last time i checked.
my mother just got her medical license renewed and is now allowed an unlimited number of plants because she bakes and cooks with it and doesn't smoke. this does not mean i will be growing a bunch more plants for her; i don't really have the space to do more than what i am now (although i could get a small cloning area set up) so it doesn't really matter. it just means i don't have to worry about us going over our quota for plants.

Growing would be good money wise, but when you get your medical card is it more expensive when you buy? I guess it depends on the club or caregiver.
I live in Michigan, near Detroit which is close to legalizing marijuana for adults but I don't live in Detorit, and in Ann Arbor it's only a 5 dollar fine for smoking pot.
Maybe I should just drive to Detroit or Ann Arbor when I smoke weed.

Yeah, I'm a Michigan man! I don't live in ann arbor, but in a nice little city about 45 minutes from ann arbor and 30 minutes from detroit.

If you're a heavy smoker it cost between $20-$150 a week depending on the local tobacco cost. As a pot smoker you can stay really high for about $50 a week or free if you grow.
Both cost too much. I think cigs should cost about $2 a pack and dank should run $10 a g.

I smoke a 30gram pouch of tobacco in about 2weeks, so it costs around $40 a month, where as I smoke at least a gram of weed a day and that's $15 each, you do the math

About 25- 30 dollars a week for cigarettes, and about 60+ a week for weed.
That would be a regular smoker, I could probably last on a little less than that.

IDK where you guys are from but its $10 a pack for good smokes in my state.
So, I'd say cigs are more expensive.

our cigs got jacked on price due to a new tax, plus they've got disturbing images on them now to try and make people want to quit
