So, I know plants are supposed to have their fan leafs yellow up in flowering. I guess I've never fed them quite correctly, because I've never had my plant do that. How much fan leaf loss is too much? In the past week I've lost maybe 25% of them (fallen off) with a few more nicely yellowed still hanging on.
I'm starting week 7, and Fox Farm has it listed in week 7 and 8 that they should get a little bit of Grow Big. I assume its because the leafs are supposed to be falling off like they are?
Also, what makes the leafs look greasy? I know its not bad, but I'm just curious.
And, finally, I've been saving all my fan leafs dried up in a jar. I wanted to mix them into some soil (as a novelty mostly) as a "compost" of sorts. Will this have any negative effects? I just hate to throw anything away from my beautiful plants. I already chew the stems :omnom:
